Allowing everyone to participate to the fullest in our society. That is our goal.

Our goal is to improve the quality of life of individuals with care or support needs. We do this with our innovative research on the physical, psychological and social level. Through prevention, rehabilitation and ongoing support, we ensure that no one is inhibited from fully participating in society.

We develop innovations, evaluate them and implement them in practice. These are evidence-based innovations in the care and welfare sector. We do this from a multidisciplinary perspective. This means that we approach our research from different angles. An engineer, an occupational therapist, a speech therapist, a sociologist, a nurse… Everyone looks at innovations with a different focus, and all these different perspectives ensure an optimal result.

We are a research group of the Thomas More University of Applied Sciences and work closely with a broad network of governments, the professional field, education and end users nationally and internationally.
